Red Lobster
6051 Bluebonnet Blvd

DBG has some sad news for Red Stickers. The Red Lobster has invaded our fair hamlet and set up shop on the
outskirts of the Mall of Louisiana. Irony: it faces Ralph and Kacoo’s. For the love of God, WHY? Every time
DBG has driven past its faux northeastern crab shack-like exterior, the parking lot has been overflowing. DBG is
hoping it is the newness of this beast of a chain that is attracting people – much in the way flies gravitate to fresh
shit – and that Baton Rouge’s love affair with pre-packaged, rubbery, frozen surf and turf will be fleeting. The
Lobster’s last two attempts at entering the Baton Rouge market were met with closure and demolition.

DBG refuses to visit the Baton Rouge location, but was recently forced to submit to eight weeks of corporate
training in suburban Pennsylvania. Many visits to the Lobster were made. Don’t judge! It was one of two
restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The only good thing they serve is the Cheddar Bay Biscuits,
and they are FREE. So if someone forces you to dine there at gunpoint, just fill up on them. Also, they have a
four course menu for 15 bucks. So at least you won’t have to waste too much of your hard-earned money.

Y’all support Gulf seafood. Eat local. You will feel better about yourself!
