Zombies

DBG recently discovered that May is Zombie Awareness Month. Cherry would like to remind all Red Stickers
that they must continue to be vigilant and report any signs of an outbreak to the Zombie Research Society
immediately! Support Zombie Awareness by wearing your grey ribbon, and imbibing in the Hurricane’s lesser-
known cousin: the Zombie! This mind-altering combination of rums was created in Southern California in the
1930s and became a national sensation when it was served at the 1939 New York World’s Fair. This potion
packs enough wallop to turn an ordinary mortal into a flesh-eating, firework-loving, empty-headed, mass of
flesh. It also is perfect for pool parties and barbeques.

The Zombie
1 oz pineapple juice
1/2 oz apple brandy
2 oz dark rum
1/2 oz grenadine1 oz orange juice
2 oz light rum
1 oz lime juice
1 oz 151 Rum

First, be classy and chill your glasses. In a shaker, mix everything except the grenadine and the 151. Pour your
mixture over ice, and float the 151 and grenadine over the top. The result is a tropical wonder topped with bright
red, lip-smacking blood. Zombies in the Caribbean agree; it is better than BRAINS. They also like it if you
garnish it with a cocktail umbrella or one of those little swords with a cherry stuck through it.
